Tour?
Years ago we (the class of 63 ) had a tour of central high, complete with all the changes
on Saturday morning of the reunion......the ones that went on the tour
really enjoyed it......Do you think we might do a tour again for the

Hi Bob,
Very nice web site. I have a couple of comments/additions.
You need to add Bob Gehrz to the Hall of Fame. Lately, by chance I seem
to be meeting lots of astrophysicists -- mostly socially. They all
know you, of course.
Also Greg Mortenson of Three Cups of Tea fame spent a couple of years at
CHS -- at least I read that in his book. But there have been some problems
with his book or maybe it was how he was using the finances --- I don't
know the latest.
Let me know if there is anything I can do for the reunion.

Hello Classmates!
Make plans now. Our 50th class reunion is scheduled for the weekend of August 23 – 25, 2013. The 'main event,' Saturday, August 24th, Dinner Party and Celebration will take place at the Crowne Plaza St. Paul Riverfront Hotel. For those wishing to stay at the Crowne Plaza, we have reserved a block of 15 rooms at a cost of $119.00 a night. [Call 800-939-4249 and mention Central High School Class of '63, to reserve your room.] There will be a hospitality room for our use and plenty of space to get together Friday evening and pre and post the Saturday evening party.

Meeting Notes--Oct 25
Thanks to all who came! We had a great turnout, twelve folks plus Ted by speaker phone. In between visiting and joking (led by Bill Z.) we managed to discuss and/or make decisions about the following:
- Lynn gave us an update on the 'Main Event'. Saturday night, August 24th reunion dinner party/celebration will be at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown St. Paul. Cost will be $75.00 a person
- Class list - Nearly complete, with very few missing and unknown addresses, thanks to work of Bob G. (email) and Maradeth (regular mail) for the scholarship committee. We will get a list of the missing up on website as soon as determined
- Website ~ Thanks to Jane's phone & 'hot spot' we were able to connect to the internet in the party room and then look at the website that Ted Johnson has worked on. We liked it! We all agreed to go with what he has started rather than paying for a commercial service. We talked about how the website will be key to getting folks connected and building momentum around the reunion and how we wanted folks to know about it sooner rather than later. So Bob agreed to notify classmates of the website's address last night! (Completed!) Bob also agreed to assist with getting our yearbook pictures scanned so they could be placed on the website next to our names with space ready to receive each classmate's profile. (Classmates Tab) We should all be on the lookout for any other tech savvy classmates who may want to assist Ted. We want lots of pictures, photos, memorabilia on the website so it is a task for all of us to scan and email photos to either - Tedjohnson101@msn.com or chs1963vl@gmail.com
- Next communication about the reunion - announcing the date, place and cost of event, along with a registration form will go out with the scholarship mailing on Nov. 10th. Judy and Vicki will write and get to scholarship committee.
- Diane Goldenberg will be collecting $ and registration forms. John J offered to assist her with this.
- Friday night ?? Classmates will be made aware of Hospitality Room at the Hotel for meeting & greeting and ...
- Memory Book - After brief discussion ranging from a big book ($25 cost) like class of '62 to maybe it's redundant of information already on website to a small book, the topic was put on hold
- Photographer - Again a brief discussion from yes have a photographer to keep it informal (classmates can take with cellphones and post...) topic on hold
- Nametags - liked having yearbook photo on them ...
- Food and Decoration committee: Lynn*, Laurel, Judy, Bobbi and Carol
- Next Meeting - Thursday, Dec. 6th. Same place and time
